FISHING REPORTS

Submitted by: Kyle Brehm

Date/Time:

7-12-08, 4-5pm
River: Clarks Fork Yellowstone
Access point on river: 2 miles south Bearthtooth Highway Jct
Weather windy, clear, low 80's
Bugs used: NFA Delectable 10 & Bead Head Prince Nymph 12
Fish caught: 2 Bows, 1 Brookie
River conditions:

Very high bank to bank slightly off color. Current speed and color made dries poor choice. It's still a wet game. Fish sizes were tiny. Note-NFA=North Fork Anglers @ Cody. It's a brownish rubber leg nymph looks like a cross between a stone fly nymph and a little wholly bugger. Lower river at state line was running muddy at 4000 cfs. Shoshone River at Cody fyi was also off color and very high into the cotton wood line banks though town and not fly fishable.
